Perhaps people change. And because it is a process, not happening in a single moment we may miss it. And you see someone someday and you notice - "damnit tah's heluva changed person".
But that's life. It is good to know you have some to love, some to rely on, some to spend your greatest moments with. Except if you both change. Although nothing is lost - the memory remains, the common history is what matters. And there can always be common future. Always!
